My work in art and writing are life-long passions; gifts I was born with. God chose to make me a very creative person and I am so thankful for that! I enjoy working in many different mediums, learning more and more about the creative process (and myself) along the way. I believe an artist never stops learning. In 2012 I'll be focusing on the mediums of Woodburning, Watercolor Painting, Digital Art works, Mixed Media, Collage, Acrylic Painting and Sculpture. I'm really excited about the new year and working with the endless possibilities of composition and design on a daily basis. I'm selling original art works and prints of my work on several venues to art lovers worldwide! It's so much fun! Inspiration for much of my art work and writing comes from living in an area rich in wildlife and natural resources, under the big skies of Texas. Living on the largest lake in Texas, Lake Texoma, for over 15 years has never failed to uplift me in spirit and amaze me. Most of the art I create carries a message of earth and wildlife conservation and care. |
I’ve been writing all of my life. My art and writing talents are true gifts from God. My short stories, prose, poetry and Haiku, have been published numerous times in books, magazines, newspapers and web sites. My most recent publications are in Literacy Head Magazine in June 2010 (2 art works) and in the online magazine, "Pink Panther" in June and July 2010 (art and poetry). I have recently added a lot more of my writing to this website, including adult poetry, children's poetry, short stories, prose and haiku. Please contact me for COMMISSIONED art or writing.
